I must say i couldn't remember Jesus saying anything about "teach a man how to fish" (unless he had a side-job as a Chinese philosopher).<br /><br />It was kind of like "Hmm, i need something to supports my party's (not-so-Jesus-like) stance. Ooh, here's a phrase that has teaching and fish. If i say it quickly enough it will sound biblical-ish."<br /><br />"The average viewer won't know Jesus never said any such thing - especially if i wear a distractingly ostentatious cross on my necklace."<br /><br />Oh, and my entry is 1 and 4.
